Hi everybody! I'm from the Vancouver area. I'm about in the middle of building my 1st CBG, and I've finished my 1st radio/amp conversion. When I'm doing what I do best I paint -landscapes mostly. Glad to be here!

Hey all - just joined a little while ago and then found this page!

I'm just north of Barrie, On. I'm now working on 3rd build. I bought a 14" bandsaw so I can cut my own lumber, just started dabbling in electronics.

I fronted a band for about four years, playing harp and singing, but tired of certain aspects of that. So now I'm giving CBG a go and so far it's a ton of fun!!! Glad to be here!!

Not really a dog bowl on mine, it's a small regular bowl, about 4" in diameter. Never seen a dog bowl smaller than 6" around here.

It's Mel from Newfoundland but the parent's decided to move to Toronto when I was about two, and at that time Canada was not yet part of Newfoundland so actually I'm a landed immigrant, and I got the immigration card to prove it too :>) I now live in Port Colborne ON. after living 50 or so years in Wasaga Beach ON. Not to many builds to  my credit started with a Nickle Cigar box kit, then went out and bought a real nice Wayne Bigler CBG presently working on a tin biscuit box Ukulele, got the neck, tuners and fret board from Mainland Ukes, just got to find time to put it together.  You would think being retired you'd have lots of time, not so.  I do have a Newfoundland license plate so when the biscuit uke is done that will be the next project a 4 string CBG. There's a guy in Fort Erie ON who has built a few CBG's have not met him yet but will tell him about you guys, he has a web site http://blueboyguitars.webs.com/   Anyway catch ya later.

Sweet sound Greg. 

I seen that you used a rod piezzo and a dog bowl. That's an awesome idea. I wonder if it would work with a disc piezzo.
