As of this week, Chickenbone John and myself with be giving a free HGMC membership with every guitar we sell, and we would like you to do the same!

Now please bear with me and read the rest.... it isnt as mad as it sounds.

While it will be 'free' to the customer, or 'included in the sale' if you prefer, Home Grown will still get the full £10 joining fee. How you make this work is up to you - you could put your prices up £10, or just take £10 less profit, or even split the difference - put your prices up a fiver, and take a fiver out of your profits. It makes no odds.

The key is that the HGMC gains a member, and therefore a possible renewal in the future, and we swell our numbers. This is important now that we are playing with the big boys and trying for funding, plus putting on bigger and braver events. The more members we have, the more credible we are.

From the customers point of view, they are getting something they may well have wanted to buy anyway, for free! A good sales point say I.
