BOXSTOCK - CANCELLED. Unfortunately the event has been cancelled due to the venue shutting down as part of Corona Virus precautions. We are working to arrange a new date and will be informing ticket holders about honoring tickets for the new date or refunds. We'll keep you updated as soon as we can.

Hi

A quick note to anyone making and selling guitars.

Boxstock is back, and following the recent BBC One screening of the film "Cigar Box Blues - The Makers Of A Revolution" interest and ticket sales are higher than ever!

The venue is The Slade Rooms, Wolverhampton and the date is Saturday 18th April (we've also added a Friday night gig, with open mic plus Hollowbelly headlining). On the Saturday, the event will be open to the public from 12.00noon until 5.30pm, and admission to the daytime event is free. For just £40 you can have a trade table, and you'll also get a ticket to the Saturday evening gig with The Dusk Brothers and the Friday night Hollowbelly gig.

Number are strictly limited, so it is first come, first served. If you have any questions or need any more information, please get in touch. It's a unique opportunity to get in touch with anyone who is anyone on the cigar box guitar scene, and a great opportunity to showcase and sell your products to the public.

"Cigar Box Blues The Makers of a Revolution" on BBC iPlayer is only available til 8.00pm this Wednesday, Jan 15th. If you haven't seen it, catch it before it goes!

Just watched it on iplayer, well done to the lot of you! what an excellent programme. Havent built much this year as mum passed away back in march & i was dealing with her estate for months. This programme has inspired me to get building again!
