Read more…I thought I would be proactive over the Xmas period and make some fret templates so I printed out various ones from W fret transferred the 25 1/2 scale to a piece of aluminium . See photo's any thoughts on what I did wrong

Drank them by Boxing Day and thought the box was too nice to throw away.

Just finished No.21 and for the first time after tuning it up and positioning the Threaded Bridge I find that Top and Bottom Strings are a perfect octave at the 12th Fret but the Middle "D" string is way out. A good 1/2
