As soon as I reached the instruction 'The block was brazed on to the old blade holder and machined ' it stopped being "simple"
The block was brazed on to the old blade holder and machined so that the clamping face was square with the axis of the jigsaw.
thats because he used an old broken jigsaw even though it still work.
just buy a new cheap jigsaw and use that.plenty cheap ones on ebay even new!
just use your initiative ..shirly you can work that out?
I make CBGs on my desk. All I am saying is that having the equipment an skills to braze and machine is only simple to those who have the equipment an skills to do so..which is beyond simple to an awful lot of us
