Heres one of my latest creations, Ritz casino habana box with a pitchpine neck, oak headstock & walnut fingerboard. Boxwood bridge & horn nut.Tailpiece is a beer pump badge with bracket riveted on underneath. Rod piezo pickup. Im a southpaw so most of mine are left handed but this ones right handed for a change!
Theres a couple more pics on my page with two other recent ones, I find im making them because i enjoy it, I never thought i was musical but at the age of 54 realise that yes maybe one day i can do this, theres a kind of magic about building an instrument then playing it for the first time, with CBG's especially so when its built from recycled or secondhand bits. I have one at work to play at lunchtime & they are all over the living room, guess i got it bad.
Thanks to Chickenbone John for all the bits!
