Interesting stuff !

It doesn't have any markings or numbers on it whatsoever.

Interesting too, that the other one on ebay also has the spring missing from the trem. Must have been a common problem.

Good to see a pic of the bridge though, gives me an idea of what my missing part looked like. Trouble is, I've got so many possible ideas of how to customise it I can't decide just yet. Every time I make a cuppa and nip down the shed for a smoke, I roll ideas around and forage amongst all my bits n bobs to see what I have that I can adapt and that's part of the Fun !!! :0)

Another idea I've had for a while is to build into a guitar a simple reverb effect.

Donner and Mooer make these nice little half sized reverb pedals which I think would be ideal for it.

yeah  the  spring missing    was common  ..      if the arm  got  caught  on something  and   was   hyper  extended  ,  they  would  just  fall  out  . 

sorry  for the hazy  help  on the info  ,  but    that's  the  way  it  is  .. and  it  gets  worse  .   teisco  bought out a few  companies  , and  was  bought  out  itself   by  kawai ,    when    bought  out , they  got  control  of the same models  .  so  ..   if they  bought out  global      and  you  had  2  .. one  could  be  a   real  global  ..     and    the  other  a teisco  made  one  .  lol .  see  what  i  mean  . 

its  weird  ..  ie; many  folks think  hound dog taylor   played a teisco  ss4l  ,,    but    he  actually    played    the earlier    kawai   model  ..    but  ..  teisco  made  em  too  .. and then   kawai  bought  out  teisco  .. and  owns both.  ...     so   ???   what is  it  ?  lol   i  guess  either  way  its a  kawai    ;-)
