I know some guys like to find new ways to do things and that's great. But if you buy your strap knobs at CGGitty's you can get 12 of them for $8.49 which works out to about $.70 per knob and that pretty damn cheap and it's the real deal besides. 

And you're doing business with a great company like CBGitty. You can't lose

I was making a strap out of an old pair of Levi 501's.  Just the belt loop part when i realized if i put two together i didn't have to make button holes or buttons. Just drill a hole in the middle of the pants button. This guitar has had them for 20 years as you can tell.
