the heatsink from a dead computer can be used for frets or fret markers if u saw off some of the alum fins..

Yall forget bout the idea of recyling the insulin bottle to a glass slide. I tried it, glass too thin, busted to all ----. Live and learn.

Fergus, I don't know, I think a long time ago in Mississippi, the CBG pioneers used medicine bottles for slides. They used whatever they had. This is what I understand, not that I am that old and can remember this stuff.

Just a thought---going to try it--recycle an empty insulin bottle. Going to cut off both ends to make a slide. Small slides for small fingers.
How bout that?

I've used the casing from a flourescent tube light fitting to make a volume knob.
