Save time and money on glue. Suppose you have a narrow area that you need to glue. First, suppose you are gluing a lid on your guitar. Depending on your glue tip, you may be able to cut one of the "legs" off of your glue tip, or add a small leg to the tip with a scrap. This creates a glue guide for the edge of your box. Second, lets say your gluing a nut or nails for frets, narrow glue area, right? Just make a small puddle of glue and dip a scrap of thin cardboard into the glue and apply with the cardboard where needed. If you are really frugal like me, scrape the excess wet glue and put back in the bottle! Less glue, less mess, and more time to build and play!
