Wellp, guess it's about time I post here.

Hey y’all,

Been here for a year, figured an introduction is past due. My given name is Matt. My building name is Scufflegrit. There’s one true story and a bunch of lies about how I got that name. The lies are more funfeel free to make up your own.

I’m from Marietta, Georgia. This means that I say I’m from Atlanta to anyone who’s unfamiliar with the place. My degree’s in theatre, but it rarely gets used nowadays. I started building to keep my shop skills sharp and to help me learn to play my old Yamaha electric better. I wasn’t expecting to catch the CBG virus.

Twelve instruments later, I find myself continuously accruing new tools, knowledge, and lingo. There is something magicalor maybe just addictiveabout the moment you first string up a newly built such-and-such and hear its voice for the first time. It's the kind of thing I look forward to while working 50+ hours a week for beans at two remarkably unfulfilling jobs.

My operation, while small, is finally developed well enough to sale some of my creative output. If you’re on facebook, feel free to check me out here (facebook.com/scufflegritcustoms). Likes are appreciated! If you’d ever like to contact me directly (and for some weird reason don’t want to message me on here), my email address is scufflegritcustoms@gmail.com.

Thank y’all for being so welcoming and generous with your help and time. This place is good stuff, keep it up!

Scufflegrit

  • Well, I for one would like to hear the lies. somehow there's just not enough bull piled up around here already.

And i'd like to see your projects and products. But your gonna have to help us out. some of us wont touch the Facebook with a mouse ball!

    Bring it.

  • Hey Scuffle, greetings. Nice to meet you. I've got it (the addiction) bad. Yet i've yet to make an actual CBG. I make my own boxes, or use other boxes, or use old beater guitars, basket cases mostly. Lately i'm into resonators. Be seeing you, Dave
