Hi guys,
I live in Mcleansville (rural area just outside Greensboro) and I am working on my 3rd & 4th cbg projects right now. Been blowin' blues harp and "playing" ( i say that 'cause i pretty much still suck)guitar for 15+ years and enjoy both blues and bluegrass music- oh yeah, Govt. Mule too!
My interest was bourne of necessity and curiosity. My wife plays banjo and showed interest in learning slide guitar. Too broke to buy a $150 chinese reso and reluctant to change the action on my acoustics, I looked for a viable and interesting alternative. I have found it w/the discovery of this site and would like to thank Shane and all the other intelligent, eclectic and interesting contributors to this site.
I have much to learn but I am already enjoying the process - that's what its about anyway, right.
Thanks for re-igniting my creativity and passion for working with wood.
Sincerely, Roy
