Hi Folks,
I am Arthur from North Idaho. I am a musician of Native Style Flutes for many years. I like to play the bass style flutes a lot. I first started playing handmade flutes in 1974. I have been wanting for awhile to play another instrument. Ran across a video somewhere on the net on playing cigar box guitars. Got my interest. Found this awesome site in my research of the instrument. So glad I found it full of great info for sure. From this site I was able to build my first CBG. Learning the basics now. And look forward to being able to play it. I thank you all for the great info here. I have included a pic of my first build. Also if you are interest in my flute music you can find more info on it at our website also www.earth-songs.band There you should find links or look for Earth Songs on spotify or itunes etc. Again this is a great site on the CBG and happy to be a member here. Already looking to build another guitar.
