New CBG player and builder from Washington State.

Hello, Rowdy here from the NW (USA).

Been a blues player for years.Been divorce 4 times.. that means...

I'VE LOST 200% OF EVERYTHING IVE EVER OWNED! hahahaha. If that don't make the blues "real", then I dunno.

I like "old" things..

My trucks a '53, My panheads a '49.. latest lap steel is 30's....(tone link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTjqguR8Q_I )

heck, the cat is like 70 years old.. in OUR (not "animal") years...

Got into lapsteels some 2 years ago by accident, and now CBGs. I'm hooked! I have build #1 down and playable now. Been into CBGs for a mere month. I had no idea what I was missing. building what you play..... playing what you build. Looking forward to pluggin in with ya'll

Here is a clip of the first build's tone... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tq8YU5Mx7Rg

I now know why the vol and tone knobs should always be at the bottom... LOL.. keep hitting it and turning it down, so for now, I took the knobs off the post. Looked at every video Shane has posted. Scored my #2 box today.. We'll get started.. Honored to be here...

Bought from CB Gitty . had no idea there was a forum.

I apologize for posting this in "comments" section. Learning this forum....
