Greetings all, I built a 3 string cbg awhile ago but never actually learned to play it.
During these last months (years?) of plague I ended up following my brother, father, aunt, and niece into learning the Ukulele. I am now thinking about building my own and not sure if I need a wider neck/fretboard for 4 strings or if I could still use a yardstick as a fretboard for a uke.

PS . If you are using a regular size uke bridge , it may not fit that great . I'm assuming it was a from scratch build /
and pss . gitty has new uke necks in stock . (1x2) . very cool ready to go for ya .

PS . DUE TO A GLITCH IN THE SYSTEM . CLICK ON HTML EDITOR AT TOP RIGHT WHEN DONE TYPING JUST BEFORE YOU POST.. (SEE THE CODE CHANGE ) THEN POST , OTHERWISE IT MAY NOT SHOW UP .
Many folks use the same necks (1x2) for 4 stringer as they do with 3 stringers , lots of room for 4 . just space em out equal . (as long as your yard stick is a-tleast that wide .. (more than the average yard stick ) you should be ok .
