Hi from England

Hi All

First post here from me.  My name is Midge and I live in the city of Lincoln here in England.

I am nearer to 60 than 16 and have just started out learning to play guitar.  I am a huge

Blues fan and it was while web browsing Blues sites that I came across Cigar Box Guitars,

it did not take me long from that point to find this forum.  I have already ordered my first cigar box so that I can attempt to make my own CBG, others here have said that this can be addictive and

I'm hoping it is.  Some fantastic advice and inspiration on this forum.

      Thanks for the greetings guys.  I haven't even got my first box yet but have spent the day sourcing stuff to use in

      the build.  I haven't done any "woodwork" since schooldays, many years ago now, and I was rubbish then but I'll give it my best shot.

    Welcome to the fun Midge. It's not really addictive, I'm only working on build #12, (about one a month for me). You can quit whenever you want to. You just won't want to.
