hello from Michigan!

Just joined today after poking around here for awhile.  Lots of great info and inspiration!  I put my first cbg on a blog post, I hope that is what I should do.  About me - a guy who farted around with guitars for quite awhile but I suffer from two issues - lack of rhythm and no musical ear.  I only can sing in the key of me.  I still like to play although I am relegated to the basement.  I like making stuff in the little spare time I have, and have been amazed at the things you all have built.  I have made a few instruments so far and am making and planning more.  I hope to make each one different and try new things as I go.

    Hi Kigar, welcome to the nation. "Singing in the key of me" works fine if you are having fun.  By now you have realized that this stuff can be slightly addicting.

    Welcome Kigar. This sure is a good club for inspiration. I have found that my singing has improved as my playing improved. Now I sing in the key my guitar is in. I just sing along with my instrument. And the best place for us nuts is the bacement, garage or shed. Might even need to leave the property. :^)
