Thank you for letting me join the group.
I have been a woodworker for about 15 years. (self-taught amateur) Recently I've taken an interest in building cigar box guitars. I've built one fretless and gave it to a friend who will be playing it, I'm not a player myself.
I am currently working on a second guitar a 4 string fretted version that I would like to tune as a 'bass'.

Thank you. I will. :)
Welcome to CBN.
You can play for your own enjoyment/amusement or others amusement. LOL
Guitar building gets more complicated, but cigar box instruments are a wonderful place to start. Have fun.
Not really a "Player" myself, but after 6 years of building I enjoy making somewhat pretty noises from them. Welcome to the addiction, adventures of building Cigar Box Guitars. Don't worry, you can quit any time you want, but after number two or three you will always wonder what the next one will sound like.
Duck has it absolutely right- they don't put "Build, Play, Repeat" on t-shirts for no reason...
