Howdy folks, 

Just started building these things a few months ago. Have tried my hand at five so far. All are experiments in materials. Two 2 stringers and 3 three stringers. All are fretless. I think my current favorite is a wood box with a double bladed ax handle for a neck. But for my next trick I am going to try something with an onboard amp and speaker. 

Now I just have to learn how to play the dang things!!!!!
