Been lurking around here for several months, decided it was time to join in the fun.

Even though I've been playing guitar/bass since I was 10 (43 years now), I'm still very new to the building part. I attempted to build a Flying V some 35 years ago, and it was a disaster! Wrong wood, didn't understand neck dynamics (let alone profile! LOL!), it basically imploded when I tightened the strings.

Hopefully, I've gotten a little better since then. I've completed 4 CBG's, including 2 slides, 1 fully fretted and my most recent, a 2 string long scale fretless bass (really happy with this one!). I also built an amp from the Gitty kit too, just too dang handy to have around when you don't want, or need, to fire the big orange monster up.

Anywho, looking forward to learning a bunch more from the folks here, and maybe even help a bit too.
