Diddley Bows from art students

My high school art students design " fantasy instruments " each year. This year I thought
" why not have them make actual sound?!?"
Here is a Japanese sword and Feline themed Diddley Bow!

Thanks Willie,

I encouraged the students to experiment. The gold pieces are actually wooden beads hanging on wire from the top of the diddley bow. When not in use the idea is that she could hang the diddley bow on the back of a door and the wooden beads would strike the string as you closed the door- kind of like a door chime.
