Would just like to post a few pictures up of my first Diddley Bow. The wood is an old packaging pallet which i took to bits. The boards are 800mm long. I bought an electric guitar pick up on Amazon for a few £ and mounted that into a small off cut of the wood. I tapered the end to make it look better and secured the bolt bridge with nail to it too. There is a tuning nut on the top, the string is an A string tuned to A. All the electronics are housed in the tobacco tin. Im having great fun just making a noise on it.
A clean & well thought out design, Andrew. Bet she's loads of fun!

Thanks Dano, that pickup took plenty long enough to arrive from China so i had more than enough time to get the design right haha. Such a fun thing to make and play about on.
