Pickup placement on a cigar box Diddley Bow

Hi all..I'm about to embark on installing an old Sekova guitar pickup into my recently constructed CB Diddley Bow....After thinking about various mounting options i came up  with this one..I remember seeing a DBo pic with a jazz bass pickup mounted similarly but i figured i'd ask "The Nation" for opinions.....Thanx much...     Yeah, that's pretty much how I've seen every mag p'up mounted on a D'Bo. Should work just fine. :)

      Installed the pickup this afternoon. I had to cut a larger then usual access hole to wire it up since it the box already had been glued shut but that didn't effect the acoustic tone ( which is LOUD because of the large size of the box... It came out pretty darn nice and the electric tone is awesome!!..... Pic 1 after i mounted the pickup to the lid and fished the wires through305886654?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024 AND NOW I CAN USE DISTORTION!!!! LOL!!! I

      I would like to hear an mpeg clip, too...

      ...trying to learn about recording....   what's the best way to make audio files and post them?   best = the EZ way  :-)
