Fret Board

Another question. I have my fret board laid out for a 25" scale and 24 frets. I have seen it said that the fret board will be in the range of 19" to 20" from the nut to the box. Mine ends at 17 5/16. What am I doing wrong or am I just not seeing thin

Tuning question - kinda of long
