I'm rather new to woodworking and I'm in the process of building my 2nd CBG and I seem to be having some issues with chip out. I'm using a Jigsaw so I know that is probably part of my problem, but just wondering if anyone has any helpful hints to avo
I've been gathering parts for weeks and finally had a chance to put some of them together today. I chose the LegenDario Bertha box, red oak neck, bone nut, and hickory bridge. It has a 22.5" diatonic scale - a standard strumthing. I'm still on the fe
My first fretted build (left) originally had the humbucker(?) p/up now on the fretless. It was set straight but got little response from the 2nd string which was not directly over one of the 'screw things'. (need to work on part names!) Anyone else n
I hope this hasn't been asked before. I have searched and couldn't find the answer. I see instruments with fret markers on the side of the neck and on the front of the fretboard. If you can see the side ones, why have the big ones on the fretboard? I
