Just about to string my first build and have an issue. This little piece of the volume pot that sticks up (on the right) is not letting me flush up the mount on the inside of my box. ???????

First Build Almost Done!
Will be playing this later today hopefully. Pure & Simple Kit From C.B. Gitty - worked on the neck quite a bit to get a good "feel" and look. For a novice woodworker def got a look I wanted.

Either cut (or snap) them off or drill a hole where it contacts the back side of the mounting hole to use it to prevent rotation when you mount it.
Another good idea. Thanks.
I just snap ‘em off Craig. Never caused me any issues doing so. I think it’s there to bite into soft wood and stop the pot turning is all. As long as you really tighten the nut on the pot it won’t turn anywho.
Enjoy your build and share the results!
Bear :o)
Wanted to check before snipping things off - good deal. Thank You.!
