I have made a few "biscuit tin" guitars, and depending on the lid (I like to have the lid on top as there is usually a design on it!) it will either support the bridge or it won't. I have a lovely old vintage toffee tin I would like to use in a new dulcimer-guitar, but not only is it a little thin, it is also slightly domed. Can anyone suggest how to brace a thin, slightly domed tin? Any suggestions will be much appreciated. It is a smashing tin!
