8-string!

I'm starting an 8-string tenor uke, tuned Gg Cc aa ee.  I have that trapezoid La Flor Dominica box, or maybe a bigger Indian Tabac that is still in the stash.  The LFD is rather shallow but quite large.  The Tabac is more than 2" deep.

Opinions?

I was surprised with how much better it sounds with the extra run of strings :O)

I've done dual 3-strings before, but never dual 4! I think with nylon strings and such a short scale I'll be able to get away with no truss rod. Dunno if I'd try that with steel strings.
