I played my jam version of this on site yesterday and got a few requests from some of my favorite people to throw down 4 or 5 mins of this tune....The Princesses Shoes ....And dont even ask about the titles they are as random as my jams...heheheh.....So put multitracks , w other peops,or  jam it yerself ,or send it back ,sI could add keyboards or  percussion or trumpet ,cbg ,....Whatevs...Ill get a longer version for those who want to stretch out a gargantuan solo......I would love to hear some thumpin bass on this.....carry on

This is one sweet groove.  Here it is with some upright washtub bass. I'm kind of all over the place, and it might be a little high in the mix, but it's in the moment.

Fun to play along with you Vinnie, hopefully we can get a few more to join in.

For those like me with a novice ear, what key/tuning are you using?

Vinnie,

Nice marching drone! You want lyrics?
Yeah, I can snag the track, will come up with something for this. It's speaking to me already. Re vids: would love to do more, but it's a choice between 1) finding the limited quiet time around here for composing, multi tracking, coming up with music and lyrics which, admittedly, are becoming more difficult / complicated (didn't wanna use the term 'sophisticated' as I'm shooting for simple bits put together in complicated ways), and 2) performing in vids, which may require a large number of retakes, because believe it or not, I get self-conscious in front of the camera, and tend to brick notes and fumble finger my way through difficult passages. You see, I'm once again in rehearsals for a play, so "play" time with wife and kids not around to inadvertently interrupt recording is at a huge premium.

I will get y'all a coupla vids over the next coupla months. One will feature me playing 'live,' the other will be the soundtrack for a cobbled-together image backdrop for 'Hawks and Vultures.' I'm one lead track and the vocal track away from finishing the mix for that one.

first of all, glad this tune speaks to you.....secondly just be you and just throw down,I am excited to collab,I have a tascam handheld that is on the fritz  for some reason,, so I can just record video then convert it to mp3, glad you r joinin in....just breathe, much respect  4 good fathers and good husbands , so dont stress it...Cool an actor ,so is one o my best buds here,A self conscious actor , go figure ...lol

Not self conscious at all performing in front of live audiences, just in front of a video cam.

cool guys , yes lyrics would be great,Oily.Ed , its in G, most of my stuff is now,I'm excited

Thanks.  It smelled like G.  :)

I'll see what I can come up with tonight/tomorrow to groove along.

Nice ,Turtle head, thanx, i love the sound.....Now turn up ,K,,lol,,Theres an old joke..... how do you know u r at a bass clinic? no one turns up....

That's funny. I can run through it again to tighten it up a little bit if need be.  This was the second time through and I was just sort of noodling and grooving along.  It's got a great feel.

I love the bass , bro just b loud and proud
