Hey Steve Fender...am in HillEnd, (soon to move to Trafalgar)...welcome aboard, glad you are about. I am sure there will be a few over your way. If I can help you out in anyway "YELL OUT". You are close enough for us over this way to hear. I have built about15 instruments now, not all on show here. 3+4 string guitars, ukuleles and a few banjers. Oh such fun...its a great addiction and you will find a unlimited supply of help on this site, all great folks! cheers

byford to me ,well at least we can say we,re NEAR perth,probably suburban extremes nth to sth,anyway,i,m a lousy player,but love trying,really enjoy making them and get a kick out of someone ripping up on those i,ve made,as i said last post look around,there are a lot of cool people who are very helpful,even to dummies like myself when i started,you tend to soak up information all the time here,nearly always a useful reply to any questions you may ask.many of us should not be allowed on the street without a helmet,but good fun at times,there,s the whole range here,from VERY good muso,s,thru so-so to bloody hopeless,but all get there questions replied to,that,s enough for now,i,ve friend requested you,accept if you wish and enjoy the journey

I'm in Byford, that's down past Armadale, could we be any further apart lol!! Mandurah anyone?

I have two 3 strings and I'm trying to nut out 'Aint No Telling" (John Hurt) and a song by Passenger called Patient Love (a newish song, from last year). ADF# tuning seems more versatile than GDG - the whole extent of my knowledge! Can sort of badly play House of the Rising Sun, Amazing Grace and some other little ditties courtesy of Keni Lee CDs but would love to be more spontaneous so I can jam and invent. Am not a muso/read music but in a past life played a bit of drums (tabla, djembe, mrdunga) so my sense of rhythm is pretty good.

What's your story?

Helloooo! Any CBG pluckers in WA? I'm in Perth, south of the river and am merrily flailing away, wishing there are others in Perth I can pluck about with (and maybe learn something).
