That's a tough request, since the manufacturers of the pcb stopped making them. The source point was through www.crazybutable.com, but this source reports no progress in getting more.

There are other DIY options for 9v amplifiers.

Anyone able to help or advise ? just scored a Pignose 7-100 amp on ebay, but it has a humming or buzzing type of noise which stop's when I jiggle the vol control or turn down the tone on the hollow body Guitar's and CBG's but seem's allright with a Les Paul solid body,I'm kinda thinking along the line's of the control but not so sure after reading some forum's on them, anyone have an idea or had the same experience ? Cheer's

What's the most amp people can get out of a 9 volt system? Whether it is a battery or an AC adapter. I just built my first amp using the simple Gitty kit, while it doesn't work well with my CGB piezo pickup, it works great with my Washburn acoustic with a preamp. I assume that's the difference between them. But now that I've made one, I want more out of 11.

Can anyone help me out please. I'm trying to hook up a audio jack to one the amps from gitty's shop.

The artec SDA-T, trying to hook up a Audio jack 1/8" stereo jack with three prongs

gitty said hook both red input leads from board to both tip/sleeve of the audio jack, black goes to ground prong of course. But i'm not getting any sound from it. when I pull the input cable slightly out from the audio jack i hear sound but not balanced stereo sound, it sounds bad. any help much appreciated

seemingly same symptoms as your amp, which seems to be fairly common too.

there is also a schematic there, if you scroll down a bit, of how to add in an isolation transformer as the current design has mains running through the chassis (bad/dangerous). sounds like it needs capping, and i would grab a new set of valves. 12AU6, 50C5,35W4. all very available and cheap.

Cost for someone else to fix it? couldn't guess.

Just got a Silvertone Model 1448 guitar and amplifier in case.  Amp turns on but only gets buzz.  everything else is vintage (1960's) correct.  how much should I expect to pay to have amp fixed?

Thanks for the ideas. I will check them out and experiment a bit. Although I was originally thinking about stepping down a 9v battery to 5v, the larger 6v battery is probably easiest. I suppose an AC-to-USB would work, too.
