Why are some pick-ups installed at an angle? When there are 2 pick-ups on a guitar, I have noticed that sometimes the second pick-up next to the nut is at an angle to the first one closest to the neck.
Just thought I’d let out a hint on an adhesive that’s worked for me well in woodwork,Gunsmithing and now in guitar building,it has a couple of real nice features it comes with a hypodermic type applicator needle as a permanent unremovable part, and
Try to decide what type of pick up to put under the bridge. Using a GittyBucker near the neck, was contemplating just a small peizo under the chrome bridge. Suggestions?

I just bought a box full of CGB building books, and I must say I'm disappointed. I taught electronics, computers, and networking. I am particular about training aids, and I have high expectations. I am in the process of designing training aids that t
I have built a fretless CBG on which I’ve had to use a humbucker as the box was too thin to be resonant, with a through neck. When I try to play it I get a lot of percussive noise when I put slide to string. I accept that this may be a result of my p

Is this wire good enough for grounding my strings? I was too lazy to run out to the barn and search and the wire for the piezo ground was not much bigger.I ground it to the volume switch case and soldered it to the brass tailpiece
Howdy, I am in charge of a church youth group (6 11-13 year old boys). Looking for the simplest plans possible to give them an introduction to building instruments.
Hoping for something that can be done in 1.5 hours (by those with little to no
