I just got a Wickedbucker that I want to mount on a box guitar that already has a piezo and jack installed.  Can I run the bucker direct to the same jack and use it in unison with the piezo? The piezo is mounted to the soundboard under the bridge.  I'm hoping to get an enhanced effect with the bucker under the strings.  This is new to me, all suggestions welcome.  Thanks, Don

    Maybee this helps Don ?

    • Thanks Andries, I can follow that.  Easier than standard schematic symbols.

  • Hi Don. I use Guitar Electronics, they supply parts but have a good selection of wiring diagrams. I would treat the piezo as a other pickup, single coil, and use the humbucker/single coil diagram. You can also choose potentiometer combinations too.

    • Thanks Taff, I'll check them out.

  • I always prefere to have either a blend/balance pot or two volume pots, cos usually one pickup is going to be louder than the other and you may not get the sound/tone you are looking for.

    • Thanks Taff, I was suspecting something like that.  Is there a reference page or link I can go to for directions on how to wire this?
