This could be git related or not. So, what's on your workbench at the moment?
I have 4 scarf joint necks in different stages of work.
A 25" scale pine 5 string neck for a Banjo-Res, A 25" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Strat-Res build, A 24 & 1/2" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Double Cut Tele build and a 27" scale 6 string Baritone Conversion neck for a Modern Strat body I have.
Very nice finish. Clean lines.
Super clean. Reminds me of Hendrix and his white Strat
Nice work Timothy and Lonman.
Keep posting guy's, anything your doing might help someone else get an idea or help them finish a project.
Today I built a fret jig. I couldn't be happier! It was a nice experiment working with the leftover wood pieces I'm using on my first cbg. It cuts perfectly!!! I used a teak oil to see how the cherry and the poplar came out. The jig is made to where the base is sturdy and can be clamped down to a table for more stability. I love this thing! I'm only on my first cbg...who knows how many I'll build....but it was fun making it. This makes fretting a no-brainer!
That's awesome. I need to make one of my own.
Thanks. This picture is so huge and doesn't show the whole jig. Any idea how to make the pic smaller and zoomed out?
Maybe edit the pic size on your computer, save a copy and repost.
Nice job! Think I'll build one.
Wow!!! Nice! Are those scarf joints machine cut?
Nice, and quite the workout.
