hi, for my own, i was using a "stompbox" at the biggining, but i prefer my new kick drum, sound better and i find it little easyer with the pedal, for the guitar, i must tell you that the reverb of my amp is broken, so i use a delay, little longer than just a reverb, and i'd rather that, as i'm alone to play, with the delay the sound take more place, and with that i have an old simple disto., but i use it with a "equalizer GE-7 " from "boss", i love it, i can have more bass with it,.... and of course a little whisky...
  • jack is right you can't go wrong with a multi fx unit what ever brand you choose. there is a bit of 'irony' when you mix the cbg with the latest technology.

i myself (and i do have an extensive collection of fx toys) like to use a roland micocube rx amplifier
which has some built in fx and amp modelling. not as versatile as a stand alone fx. but i find the one cbg one amp concept works and i can run it on 6 AAbatteries or the supplied ac adaptor.

    cheers

  • I use a digitech rp-250 . Lots of different pedals and amps built into one unit with a wah pedal built in. Also is fully programable and has a built in drum machine..Simple to use and hooks directly to computer via usb. Download free Audacity recording software and you can record. Pretty good quality recordings to. And it cost about $125.00
