It does look like a lot. But that's where the proper intonation between open and 12th fret when fretted. I use a clip on tuner when setting up
Hi Curtis, nice looking build. I'm just wondering why there is such a difference in scale length between the 1st and 3rd strings
, the compensation at the bridge looks much greater than is normally used. Just wondering. With so little difference between the 17 and 13 strings I would have thought very small compensation would be needed.
