Warped lid on Cohiba Robusto box

I'm no woodworker... ok, so I'm building a CBG... Anyhow, I need some advice on straightening a lid making it flat again.

I've laid a wet paper towed on the inside curve (concave) to which it did bend the lid the opposite direction, and I did weight it down as to keep the lid flat until dry, but that did not last.

I have the same problem with a couple smaller boxes that have the slide tops... They have an awful curve to 'em.

Funny thing, I was thinking archtop ;-)

Thanks Biddlewicket and Ted for the suggestions. I'll do the steam/weight thing again. I guess I'll have to let it sit much longer.

Repeat as necessary...

Less is better. You could even clamp it between 2 straight boards steamed

OR, just do an archtop cbg
