Swedish inventor and musician, Martin Molin is known for making wild musical machines that use marbles and gears, as featured in this video.  His latest creation is a step back, concentrating on a single string, like a diddley bow.

The Ondophone uses a spring striker, similar to a Marxophone instrument and it has a slide attached to the fretboard.  Check out the video below and then scroll down to learn about the Marxophone, too!

The Marxophone is an instrument that dates back to the 1920's and was sold door-to-door.  Here's Katherine Rhoda giving a great demonstration.

Great little video. Like the unusual instruments this guy comes up with. Using this with the E-Bow is cool. Love the kicker on the floor tom. Big jazz box guitar with the Gold Tone humbucker(I have a Bluesbird with those pickups) Like the semi-hollow bass too.

not a great tutorial but the details are here.. how to make a home made ebow...

And here's the schematic.

The 50 ohm sensor is on the front(far left of schematic) and the 8 ohm sensor is the last one on the output side(far right).
