I live in/near Downtown STL. I am pinched for time at the moment, but would like to see what happens with this.

Great Colin,

Help keep this alive by giving feedback and adding any ideas. There are most likely a few places that will sponsor us if with present it correctly and maybe get our foot in the door on a small scaled venue. I was thinking way ahead for sometime when the weather is more accommodating, June-July?

How goes it with the festival planning, Gary? Do you have a place, date and time yet?

There is a route 66 festival here in Edwardsville IL. in June. They have art&craft shows, a stage with PA system and music venue. It draws a big crowd. Just another idea thrown in.

Most definitely will follow through with this plan and see where it goes. This started off with gary herget wanting a get together and my responce was the more is MO better. I think casual get together s is a great idea too, we certainly need a Cigar Box Festival out our way at the gateway.
