My first build. 5-2016. I used a silverware box. I couldn't find a 9x12 cigar box. Inside is a ginger bread pan I got from my wife. I drilled 8 holes around the 2-1/2 inch hole in the center for resonation. The 4 sound hole covers are bathtub drain screens. The cross and star came from my motorcycle vest. The fret markers are white thumb tacks recessed into the wood. The tuning knobs came from a pawn shop. The 2 latches came from the hardware store. The string holder is a cabinet hinge. The 2 strap knobs came from an old broken guitar that I bought at a garage sale for 5 bucks. The neck and fret wires came from C.B. Gitty.
