Think it depending on how acoustic you want it if you slapping 3 mini bukers on it how much the top vibration wouldn't matter but pizo rod it may help to some degree Allow have a gap

I'm surprised because I hadn't thought of the neck being on top of the box before, so that is yet another variable. I actually was thinking of it going through the box and then being shaped to make or not make contact from below.

Wayfinder, can you describe the differences in the sound of the three designs?

I understand your joy in not knowing the end result in advance, but I'm likely to only be able to purchase one more CBG (or build it, if I have the patience, so having an idea about the result is very helpful.

volume or sustain, thats the inherent tradeoff, work out whats your priority and there you go...
