No, its not quite a cbg, but it is square. Help save an 1850's piano from the dump. My sister needs to unload this cheap. Near Pittsboro NC. A local piano mover knows how to move it properly. It weighs 1/2 a ton. Works fine, most of the ivory keys still there. Last no show ebay bid was $103.
wow, just wow. That looks older than 1850's though. If i was there i would come get it, i now have 12 in my garage, but i wouldn't move that one the same way i move the ones i have gotten, i typically break them down, and haul them out piece by piece. Thats a beauty !
Maybe you could donate it to a museum?
traditionally, people "gift" old pianos, and keep passing them on, but i think if you work hard and be patient , this one might be able to turn a few bucks
no place to store it.,.,but I agree.,.,you should be able to find a buyer.,.,most people I know haul'em off to tear down for guitar parts.,.,.,this one looks better than those.,.,.,
yep ! lol. i havnt bought any wood for guitars ths year because i made several hauls of old pianos. My daughter and i got to where we could go armed with a couple of electric drivers and a few bits and haul them out in about 20 minutes , stuck them in the back of ford explorer lol.
If you don't find a buyer, start contacting local churches to donate it to, or a local stage/play/community group...
The piano sold for $100 and went to a real home.
