<p>If you take the time and peen the bowl with a small bowl hammer uniformly,it not only looks great,but increases its rigidity enormously,i don't know how it would sound as an actual reso bowl though,but peened in that manner you could go down to very thin material and maintain good rigidity,which makes me think it might sound ok</p>
