As I'm still trying to sort out what is the most ergonomic for me, I'm thinking of putting a static neck mount on the one box I've done so far, and putting replaceable necks on it, i.e. primarily various scale lengths, but perhaps fretted and unfretted.
This should work regarding scale length changes, as the neck is not angled for a specific bridge location, etc.
Just wondering if there's anything I should avoid. Also wondering about vibration transference from the bolt-on neck to the rest of the instrument.

I want to slope the neck back about 2 degrees. I used a pair of 3/8's machein bolts to hold the neck in place, and drilled to holes about 1/32 smaller to allow the threads to cut their own path in. Next time im going to insert long hex nuts to insure its stronger. As long as everthing is tight, there shouldnt be any rattling
