My Google Fu is so weak. I've been looking for an excellent flat unit (no body curve) for a build. Can't seem to find a good one, but I know they are out there. What kind do you all prefer and where do you get them at?
Thanks in advance!

great solution from tafffy. you can also passively control a piezo rod with a capacitor across the input. different value different tone.
Hi, thanks for your comments guys.
Tip: if you build a number of different cbg's for your own use, to save some expense what I did some years ago was to build the pre-amp you see in photo into small box, a la stomp box, and use it for many guitars.
Also if you are demoing to a potential customer play though it, it makes things sound a lot better, and shows the potential of a CBG.

Much thanks to everyone!
Good info here. I hate those curvy preamps. A real PITA to get mounted and never come out looking neat unless you take Taffys approach. Nice work Taffy.
7545r-FLAT is the model you're looking for...
You can get ukulele preamps cheap off eBay with or without a built in tuner. Usually they have volume, treble and bass controls.
