So I've read a few times about how back in the day blues musicians would get their start stringing a wire on the side of a house so I figured why not. I streched me a wire on the side of a shack, and plucked a little Spoonful. It was a fun if a bit more difficult to play than I imagined.

The vid didn't imbed but the link worked. Cool idea. Bet that really sounded wild inside the shed. I heard one interview that talked about stringing one on a screen door. Not sure how that worked. But wire was easer to come by.
