<p>Hi Brent, I cut the sound hole using a hole saw, GO SLOW AND HANG ON. the surrounding chrome ring is one of my resonator soundhole covers with the grill mesh cut out.</p>
<p>I used a piezo pickup. To me these are too tinny sounding in a tin body, that is why this guitar is wood, with the lid on top. Even so, sounds reasonable at bedroom levels through my acoustic amp, but in the band situation it was terrible, I was embarrassed. But it sold. </p>
<p>Also at high sound levels of a full band…</p>
