Need effect pedal help

 Anybody built any pedals (fuzz, comp, o.d., ect)? I could use a little info & help. Another prospective always helps.

 Right now I'm on a quest to get help with a fuzz I'm building. PCB from www.DIYEffect.com (China) JH fuzz JF-2, project JHFF, pcb JF-2. It must be outdated (2008) because there's no info on their web site. Plans include some options but they left off the value of one of the caps. Right now I'm not getting output. Works fine in bypass. Wiring all checks out so problem must be on the board, just haven't found it yet.  I didn't find a group for this kind of stuff. If there's any interest, I may start one.

 I guess I put this in the wrong catagory but don't know how to move it. Oh well.
