Thanks for that Ted it was just the sort of thing I was looking for.
Is there a reason the piezo pickups are not run through the tone pot and in your opinion would it be ok to use 250k pots?

On my washboard build { " the Amish Harp " } i used 4 rod piezo`s in the bridge and a mag pickup under the metal part of the washboard. I used seperate inputs but they blend nice together. Volume and tone on the mag just volume on the rods.

Also you can use a blend pot to give some variation to the piezo/magnetic ratio in the output. (A link to how to wire 2 pickups via a blend pot is within this discussion http://www.cigarboxnation.com/group/cbgwiringelectronics/forum/topi...).
