Markers on Pre-Fretted Boards

Hi folks. I may be using the wrong search terms, but I can't seem to find any info on this.

Does anyone have advice or methods they use to install fret markers on fretboards that are purchased with frets installed? Burning/branding is of course understood, but that's not the look I'm looking for.

type in the usual way under the "visual mode" tab then when you are ready to post then change to the "HTML Editor" tab then click on the Add reply.. works every time no missed posts...
